Local Kombucha

July 15th, 2010

Booch - Local KambuchaWe are happy to announce that we have received our first load of Booch!

I tried a sample and it is delicious!

We have 3 flavors of Booch available to us: Peach, Ginger and Original!

If you aren’t familiar with kombucha, here is a quick explanation. Kombucha is tea made from the fermentation of what is described as a mushroom which is in fact a culture (bacteria and yeast) that provides probiotic (normal healthy microorganisms that benefit and even maintain the health of the host) material. Kombucha Tea is often mixed with fruit juice or other delicious drinks before serving but is also great on its own.

If you haven’t already tried kombucha, stop in and enjoy the benefits. You’ll feel great and be refreshed.

Kombucha

June 25th, 2010

We are sad to inform you that distribution of GT and all unpasteurized Synergy Kombucha drinks have been halted due to mild over brewing. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) require proper licensing and labeling for anything over 0.5% alcohol content. So, testing must be complete before our Beloved Kombucha is back on the shelves.

The people producing GT Kombucha are hard at work to keep there product at its highest quality possible.

But fret not! GT and the other Synergy drinks will be back on the shelves in no time.

…At least that’s what a little bird told me.

Local Varieties

June 8th, 2010

Right now we have some delightful local cucumbers in. Try the Kirby cucumbers, they are great for pickling but flavorful and delicious on there own or with soup salad and sandwiches.

But thats not all, we also have local zuchini and squash including white zucchini.

Local green peppers, and new crop red and white potatoes.

… and my favorite of the bunch, is the Cookville TN Tomatoes.

Keep dropping into the store and checking in here at the site for more!
